Garrick Sanford, USPTA
Garrick has been with Dalton Golf and Country Club tennis staff since 2013 and was appointed the Director of Tennis in 2015. Garrick is a certified professional tennis instructor, maintaining his USPTA certification for over ten years, and he has been a certified professional pickleball instructor for over five years. Garrick led the DGCC junior tennis program to four USTA Junior Team Tennis state championships and a sectional championship in 2022. Garrick is also the head boys and girls teams tennis coach at Christian Heritage School and coached the teams to their first region championships in school history along with the program’s first state championship in 2023. Garrick trained on the DGCC courts as a junior and attended Murray County High School in Chatsworth, Georgia, where he led his team to a region championship in 2006. He earned a scholarship to play tennis at the collegiate level with Reinhardt University, where he played for four years and gained all conference honors in 2011 & 2012. Garrick majored in Sports Management with a minor in Business Management. Garrick resides in Crandall, Georgia with his wife, Tiffiany, and his two children Nell and Harlen. | |
